The Copyright law safeguards expressions of ideas rather than the ideas themselves. According to section 13 of the Copyright Act 1957, copyright protection is granted to literary works, dramatic works, musical works, artistic works, cinematograph films, and sound recordings.
FILM CLUB REGISTRATION:
Eligibility for applying extends to any Indian school or college students. The STUDENTS MOVIE ARTS REEL TEAM (SMART) Film Club is open to membership.
BANNER REGISTRATION:
AIAMMA members are required to submit an application for fresh titles, specifying the period, languages, and formats (Films, Television, Digital, etc.) for which they seek registration with AIAMMA. Upon receiving the application, AIAMMA explores the title in the industry domain within a time-bound period. Subject to availability, clearance, and due consideration for the legitimate interests of all concerned stakeholders, and adherence to established norms and guidelines of the film and television industry, AIAMMA registers the title and informs the respective member.
