OBJECTIVE OF THE S.M.A.R.T CLUB

The S.M.A.R.T Club, an initiative affiliated with AIAMMA, welcomes Indian school or college students to explore the realms of arts, intercultural activities, and amusement alongside film appreciation and production.

Objectives

1. Fostering Skills and Creativity
   • Organizing screenings of films and documentaries, along with art exhibitions, cultural performances, and workshops, that highlight essential skills like leadership, teamwork, creativity, and self-motivation.
2. Exploring Cultural Diversity
   • Presenting unique and engaging films, art forms, and cultural experiences to acquaint students with diverse traditions, perspectives, and lifestyles, inspiring them to dream and create colorfully.
3. Encouraging Discussions and Analysis
   • Facilitating discussions and analyses to encourage students to express their ideas, share experiences, and learn innovative techniques in arts, movie-making, and intercultural practices.

Functioning of the Club

1. Formation of the Club
   • The club is formed under the guidance of faculty coordinators, ensuring a structured approach to activities.
2. Faculty Coordination
   • Two faculty members will oversee and guide club activities.
3. Membership Selection
   • Members are selected through interviews conducted by the faculty coordinators to ensure enthusiastic and talented participation.
4. Inclusivity Across Divisions
   • Each division (Juniors and Seniors) includes seven members for balanced representation.
5. Regular Meetings
   • Weekly meetings are held to plan and coordinate club activities.

Club Activities

1. Bi-Weekly Showcases
   • Screening of a movie/documentary or hosting an art or cultural event every fortnight.
2. Pre-Event Briefings and Discussions
   • Each session includes a briefing followed by analysis, interactive discussions, or workshops to deepen understanding.
3. Dedicated Time Slots
   • Events are scheduled for Thursdays during the afternoon session to accommodate students' schedules.
